Community Rounup #13: Rolling the Dice on LTBcoin Price

http://ift.tt/eA8V8J

Lucky number 13!

Our forum has been buzzing, more or less since the very launch of LTBcoin (LTBc), about the BTC/LTBc exchange rate. While Melotic saw some LTBc trading in the past, today most of the LTBc trading seems to take place on Poloniex, which is being discussed on this multipage thread.

In addition, John Light recently published an interesting article about the relationship between price, value and appreciation of LTBc.

Recent hacks on BitStamp and Bter have stirred up some active conversation here. We want to remind you, any time you do not control your personal keys, they are vulnerable to attacks, hacks and theft. So secure your personal keys, please. Here's a good guide how to store your Counterparty keys on Armory wallet.

Adam has a discussion going on about using SwapBot to exchange EARLY token for LTBc. This will allow users who don't have the EARLY token from its initial disbursement, but do have a stash of LTBc they'd like to spend on the token, to have access to the Founder Forum. The Founder Forum is, among multiple other active ones, a Token Controlled Viewpoint. If you'd like to setup a TCV yourself, you can do it here.

Have you heard the latest magic word? The magic word is of course our little hidden gem placed in the various podcasts published on the LTB Network, allowing you, the listener, to earn Proof-of-Participation points for your valuable time. Initially, the time frame to enter a particular magic word was set to four days, but now the time frame has been extended to seven days, to accommodate the increase in number of podcasts implementing the use of magic words. Some math and other higher levels intelligence are happening on the related discussion.

Robert made some good suggestions for tweaking the user experience on Tokenly, the content management system on which LTB runs:

  • We could make it so hotlinks from posts and comments open in a new tab.

  • We could have the ability to change the various threads to a "list view" so you can see more threads than about four at a time.

  • We could have the ability to list threads in descending order by last comment, most views, or most replies.

If you have ideas to further improve user experience, or want to report a bug, you can join the conversation on the LTB Platform Development and Support forum.

Finally, here are some random numbers for this past week:

Be Excellent to Each Other,

Tuomas
